Rev. Jay Hodge, Pastor














 

Jay Hodge is a native of Nashville, Tennessee and a graduate of Union-PSCE with both a Master of Divinity and a MA in Christian Education.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee Technological University.

He comes to us from Wales Presbyterian Church in Wales, Maine.  Prior to service in Maine he served as Chaplain of Harbor Lights Hospice in Ohio and the Cleveland Clinic.  He has had associate experience in New Jersey and Georgia.

He is married to the Rev. Beth Herrinton-Hodge who has recently received a call from the denominational headquarters as one of the associate editors of curriculum development.

Jay and Beth have two daughters Katie and Kelsey.  Last year Jay served as a kindergarten volunteer.  He has also been a Montreat Youth Conference co-director.

Jay enjoys reading, writing, praying, teaching, cooking, outdoor activities, exercise, travel, drama, singing/music and gardening.
